About the role

As our Lab Technician you’ll be an essential part of our five-person R&D team, supporting everything from battery testing to equipment maintenance and analytical measurements. Your daily work will help bring cutting-edge ideas to life.
What you’ll be doing
- Assembling, leak and baseline testing our acid-base flow batteries;
- Prepare electrolytes and other solutions;
- Analytical measurements, think of conductivity, pH, Cl- and IC;
- Characterizing membranes and/or components;
- Installing, modifying, calibrating, inspecting and maintaining equipment;
- Writing manuals, procedures, and improving them where necessary.
Function requirements
We expect from you:
Education and experience
- MBO 4 (vocational degree) in Chemistry, Physics, or similar field – Bachelor’s is a plus.
Knowledge and skills
- Hands-on, independent, and detail-oriented;
- Able to follow SOPs and lab safety guidelines;
- Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, innovative environment.
The following is considered a plus:
- Experience in electrochemistry;
- Programming skills (e.g., Python).
